The win grants Tal-Ya a $5000 cash prize, but much more importantly, raises the company’s profile considerably. The Imagine H2O competition also provided an opportunity for high-quality meetings with investors and potential customers active in the agriculture arena.
Following the win, Tal-Ya was featured in a CNN article “Drought-ravaged California turns to tech for help” as a technology which is well-positioned to help farmers combat the disastrous effects of the drought.
