Avi Tamir is a serial entrepreneur in the Agricultural and Industrial sectors and the founder of Tal-Ya. Having invented Mitra, he has systematically developed the product, built a presence and achieved good academic recognition over the years. Tal-Ya stands on solid ground (literally and figuratively) thanks to the sophisticated Intellectual Property its products constitute. Avi’s contribution to the technical side of the company come from the agronomic and engineering perspectives. With 68% of company shares, Avi is its largest shareholder.
